Elizathan society

A time when queen elizabeth the first was in control which is 1558-1603 and in some call it the golden age in the english history. At this moment in time it was also time of the english renaissance also english literature and poetry. william shakespeare’s most important part of what made him big the globe theatre

the elizabethan society was before the tudor period and after the jacobean era. this specific era for many new things such as weapons, medicines, food and fashion but another thing that happened was the black death or the plauge which is known for how many people died because of it as it spread further and further around the world killing more and more people until it was finaly stopped

globe theatre

this place is a famous place where william shakespeare did most of his plays if not all but this place was burned down june 26 1913 and a second one was built at the same place at june 1614.  this place was built in london and at park street, southwark. the architect was petre street and was owned by lord chamberlain’s men with about 3000 people

it was opened 1599 and  closed on 1642 and as we all know was co owned by william shakespeare. the place is made3 of oak and stolen playhouse frames as well as being a 3 stroy building this place is qutie a site if you come to england

the lord’s chamberlain’s men are a playing company that william shakespeare. he worked for him as an playwriter and actor for most of shakespeares career. there it had become, by 1603, one of the two leading companies of the city and was subsequently patronized by James I

your groups play - overview

the all’s well that end’s well goes like this. helena an orphan child is given the oppurtunity when the king of england goes under a sickness. helena’s father being a great physician died some time ago and she is the only one who can help and once she does she was given the choice to have any mans hand in marrige and because of this she chooses bertram the son of a countess who dislikes the whole agreement but has no choice but to marry her. he soon has to leave to the army but some time after he leaves he writes a letter telling her that they can’t be together until she has the family ring and bears his child after this she leaves.

after some time helena goes looking for him and finds him flirting with another women she then tells her whats happens and she decides to help by giving her access to her house and the ring bertram gave her. when bertram comes to diana’s house ( the women he was flirting with) helena is hiding under the sheets and at this time they make love. eventually someone makes a rumour that helena is dead and bertram looks to paroles his partner in battle and he was dismissed from the army. soon after people come to helena’s funeral but then she comes in and explains what happens and turns out to be pregnant. with this bertram keeps his promise and becomes a good husband.

relevance of shakesspeare to 21st shakespeare

i don’t think he is as relevant to 21st centuryt as long ago because no many people read old english and we really don’t have to because our time is so much further and we have learnt new things that are  much more relevant and needed to todays society.

we should only learn about him if he have to so that we know more about the hsitory and a little on the plays of that time after that we shouldn’t have to use it at allbecause it is something no one uses in public places.

what are typical features that all shakespeare plays must include?

most of the things they must include a deep plot that really touches people. either love, death or comedy and true feelings that people use everyday and typical plots

they usually include any play needs props, lights, actors, stage and scripts

maps and map reading is what we did today as a group. us group 10. in this little assignment that we did t included skill of which direction how to read a map and figuring out which was the actual answer for the questions.

1. interactive T.V. is a new way to watch T.V. instead of using sattelites or antenna’syou can use your internet meaning your broadband

2. its called T.V. 2.0 because it is a version 2 of watching T.V.

3. interactive T.V. is good since it makes us easy on what we want to watch and what you don’t want to watch

4.cause there was something wrong with it. it wouldn’t work on big televisions and the sound was poor especially on surround sound and on normal bone shaking noise when watching

2. it has evoloved in many ways more people use the internet now and there are more people giving information out and news on T.V. can now be repalyed on the internet which is good for people who missed out on something they wanted to see

3.digital newspaper are more used because most of the time they are free and it is easier to find what you want and you have a selection of articles to choose from
